What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
