TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
