Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
